Guardian Angel Settlement Association walks alongside our clients and helps them take that first step toward a better life. With each step on the path to possible, we meet emergency needs and partner to inspire the people we serve to see the possibilities of a brighter future – one beyond the daily grind of poverty, where families can thrive and achieve their dreams. What we might view as a minor setback can feel overwhelming for someone without extra financial resources…and for many, Guardian Angel is the first step. Our services are flexible, working with each person and learning about their situation and goals. Our approach instills dignity and empowers people of all ages to work toward self-sufficiency and independence.

Guardian Angel serves more than 2,000 children and adults in low-income households each year through our two main programs: early childhood education and social services. Together, these programs offer opportunities for people to break from poverty and achieve greater independence. In the meantime, while families are on their journey working toward self-sufficiency, we offer a temporary safety net that prevents temporary setbacks from becoming major crises.
