F.A.C.T.'s 2024 No Hunger Holiday
Each year F.A.C.T. along with other organizations across the St. Louis Metropolitan area collaborate with the Knights of Columbus in Cottleville to provide Thanksgiving meals to families in need. The families that we provide support services to can receive a box that has a full Thanksgiving meal which includes a turkey, a dessert, and all the sides. On the Tuesday before Thanksgiving families will either pick up their boxes at our offices or their Family Peer Specialist will deliver it to their home.
On Tuesday, November 26th, F.A.C.T. will go to the Knights of Columbus Hall in Cottleville to pick up our boxes for our families. The truck will then come to the office and we have to unload the truck of all boxes and sort them to get them ready for family pick up. We are in need of volunteers to help unload the truck. This year will have 323 families who will receive boxes. Lunch will be provided.
