Beyond School Academic Mentor Volunteer
Beyond School is an expanded learning opportunity that takes place after school where we work with students on intensive academic support, social/emotional support, enrichment activities such as yoga, spoken word or chemistry, and community service.
As a Beyond School Academic Mentor Volunteer, you will work directly with the students focusing on anything from math, literacy, and homework help. You will be trained to deliver individualized assistance, ensuring structured academic time is impactful. Beyond School is located at three sites:
Lafayette Preparatory Academy: 1900 Lafayette Ave. St. Louis, MO 63104 - 4:00-5:15pm (3rd-8th grade) M-Th
St. Louis Language Immersion Schools: 1881 Pine St. St. Louis, MO 63103 - 4:00-5:10pm (K-8th grade) M-Th *foreign language NOT required*
Kairos Academies: 2315 Miami St. St. Louis, MO 63118 - 4:20-5:26pm (5th-10th grade) M, T, Th, F *No Wednesdays needed*
