Childcare Volunteer
Overview: Healing Action Network, INC. is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Childcare Volunteer. The Childcare Volunteer is responsible for providing support and supervision to children while their parents or guardians participate in Healing Action programs or services. The volunteer will be expected to engage with children in a positive and age-appropriate manner, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Responsibilities:

Engage with children in activities while their guardian/caretaker attends services with Healing Action program staff

Engage with children in age-appropriate activities such as games, crafts, and storytelling

Maintain accurate attendance records and sign-in/out procedures for children

Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for children

Adhere to organizational policies and procedures, including child protection and health and safety guidelines

Maintain HIPAA and confidentiality of Healing Action members and their children
Qualifications

Prior experience working with children in a childcare or volunteer setting preferred

Ability to engage with children in a positive and age-appropriate manner

Ability to work as part of a team

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to follow instructions and adhere to policies and procedures

Must pass a criminal background check
