Community Investment Strategy 2024: Application Reviewer
United Way of Greater St. Louis is pleased to offer volunteer opportunities for community members interested in helping select local nonprofits to receive United Way funding and support. Currently, we are seeking volunteers to review and score local nonprofit applications to help determine which applicants will move to the next phase of consideration for “this one-time funding opportunity”. During this phase, volunteers will be tasked with reviewing and scoring local nonprofit applications.
Volunteers must be able to meet the minimum requirements to serve as a community investment volunteer:

- Be at least 18 years of age or older
- Not serving as a member of a non-profit agency’s Board of directors that may be considered for funding
- Not volunteering with a non-profit agency that may be applying for funding consideration
- Available to attend mandatory training
- Ability to commit to at least 20 hours
- Ability to access an online electronic scoring tool
